Description

Single Origin Arabica

Over 1000 years ago, live Arabica coffee trees were smuggled out of ancient Ethiopia and brought to an Indonesian Island called SUMATRA by Dutch colonists.

These extremely rare single origin coffee beans are grown near Lake Toba, the largest Crater Lake in the world formed by an ancient volcano where the soil is rich in fertile volcanic ash. The coffee beans are separated from their fruit by a traditional local method known as Giling Basoh (wet-hulled). This method enhances the body and depth of flavours, giving them their unique exotic creamy, earthy and smooth taste. This exceptional coffee is a firm favourite amongst coffee enthusiasts.

Great as an espresso or used in a French press, makes the perfect cold brew coffee.

Notes:  woody cedar, smoky spice and maple sweetness
