Single Origin Arabica
The MONSOON is a single origin Arabica coffee that historically dates back to the times of the British Raj in India.
During the monsoon seasons, wooden vessels voyaged across the seas transporting raw coffee beans from India to Europe, causing the coffee to ripen with humidity and sea winds. The coffee beans being so exposed to constant humid conditions underwent accidental characteristic changes which changed their size, texture, appearance and taste; thus giving birth to the famous Indian Monsoon Malabar.
Today this unique method is replicated by keeping the coffee beans in moist, warm and humid conditions which ensures the coffee has a wonderful velvety and deep spiced flavour. The spicy flavour perfectly cuts through milk making great tasting lattes, or served straight as a flavoursome deep tasting espresso.
